My main focus in life is work. I am there for almost sixty hours a week and when I get home the last thing I think about is cleaning my house. Man, do I hate cleaning. I’m not a naturally tidy person to begin with so that makes it even more difficult. It’s not that I don’t think that I should have a clean house, I just can’t seem to achieve that on my own. I’d much rather have someone else come in and manage my vacuuming, dusting, and general house cleaning if I could afford it. I know, now that spring has arrived, I must take the time to deep clean my house. I normally take a week off of work to do just that. I dearly dread the onset of Spring cleaning because I work for days without the chance to relax. Besides, nothing is more frustrating than getting a few days of beautifully warm and sunny weather, and then locking yourself in the house to clean for hours on end. I can’t handle the idea of being trapped inside a musty and stale house, while looking out the windows to see brilliant sun and warm breezes. The only thing that allows me to tolerate the mental distress of Spring cleaning is the existence of my wonderful whole-house fan. You see, I had this specialized ventilation system installed in my home and it helps me to manage the air quality. If you haven’t heard of It’s called a whole-house fan, let me give you some insight into this technology. The system works amazingly well to draw a large volume of outdoor air to the inside of the house in the blink of an eye. The big fan kicks into gear and passes it through the attic. This pulls in the natural air outdoors and flushes the old, stale air out of the house through the roof. It’s not a perfect system, but it improves the air quality in a hurry.
