Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility, reduce stress, and sweat out toxins.

The beginning of yoga dates back to the 1800’s and was created to help find a balance between body and spirit. Today, people practice yoga everywhere and each person has a different intention for their practice. I have practiced yoga for many years and have found that my favorite practice includes a fast paced flow and a heated room. This is known as “Hot Yoga”. There are many benefits to practicing yoga in a heated room. One benefit is that the warmth helps your muscles to relax. Relaxed muscles allow you to go deeper into poses in order to get the most out of your workout. The rooms are typically heated to 90 degrees and get warmer throughout the practice. A good heating system is a necessity for the yoga studios that offer this type of class. Without a proper heating system, studios would have to use space heaters to heat the room to the desired temperature. This type of heating system could be troublesome if someone were to fall out of a pose and land on the heater. In order to run a successful yoga studio, a good HVAC technician is vital. If the heating system were to fail during summer in a warmer climate, the studio might not suffer. On the other hand, if a studio offering a hot yoga class in the middle of winter in a colder climate experiences a failed heating system, they might have to cancel the classes. In the event of needing a heating repair last minute, it would be great to have a HVAC technician on call at all times.
