Every Spring and Summer, our area gets pummeled with storms, however occasionally the two of us will have rain for afternoons and afternoons; Even though the two of us have immense amounts of precipitation, the two of us still regularly use our a/c, but during Spring and summer, our average uneven temperatures are well into the 71s and 90s. Even with thunder and lightning, my family and I still have to use the a/c for managing our Indoor Comfort levels. A few weeks ago, the two of us had a terrible tropical storm. The two of us received an inch of rain, and the two of us had wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. The uneven temperatures were still in the 71s outside, and the two of us continue to use the a/c through the storm. After the Storm was over, I noticed a puddle of water forming outside the a/c closet. I opened the closet and saw frost on our a/c. I turned off the thermostat and contacted the building owner immediately. I told the building owner about the puddle of water and the frozen a/c, however he advocated myself and others to keep the system shut off, until the service supervisor could arrive. About 20 hours later, the service supervisor knocked on my door; He had a tote full of tools in his hand. He used an old hair dryer to melt the frost. After the frost melted away, the a/c worked great again. The outdoor storm debris had become lodged in my drain line. Since the drain line was blocked, my a/c froze up. The service supervisor cleaned the drain line and fixed the a/c. After that, the a/c worked perfectly once again.
