Worrying about my home

During my house searching process, even though in the area I live in the housing market is very fast paced, I have a large number of houses to try to choose from. I’ve toured them all. At this point, they’re starting to look alike. That’s probably because my wish list items limit to some extent the houses our realtor is showing me. I want new heating and cooling, electric and plumbing. I need 2 bedrooms and at least 2 bathrooms. I don’t want to have to deal with costly heating and cooling repairs. I could handle not having air conditioning, as I don’t really like it or use it anyway, but a new heating system is a must! Electric and plumbing are big issues too that you don’t see when you buy the house because they’re hidden beneath the walls. I don’t want to have to be worried about my house getting a fire because there is bad electric. My wife and I are both health nuts so that’s a huge relief to not have to worry about those things. I would say that i’d rather have electrical work done than plumbing or heating and cooling. My brother is an electrician, so I think he could give me a good price for replacing some of the electric in the house. Also, it wouldn’t be as expensive of an upgrade as if we had to do the entire HVAC system in the house!
