When I was a child I simply loved spending time in the kitchen with my Grandmother.
Whether it was preparing dinner or baking some luscious creation I didn’t want to be anywhere else. It was no surprise that when I finished high school I wanted to attend to The Culinary Institute to go into some sort of restaurant work. During my time there I realized that my tploy passion was baking & I decided to open up a small bake shop of my own once I graduated. That was a few years ago & now I specialize in wedding cakes & I try to make them as identifiable as the couple themselves. As you can imagine some of them come up with some crazy ideas & I tried to make them happy. The largest challenge in creating these works of art is moveing them to the location where the couple will be having their receptionâ€¦ Not only do I have to have a car that can apartment them despite the fact that I also need to make sure that the temperature is just perfect both in the car & at the locationâ€¦ Some of these cakes are undoubtedly intricate & have thoUSAnds of handmade flowers made of frosting & even the slightest change in temperature can cause them to melt. During the Winter it is a bit easier because I don’t have to worry about refrigeration but on warm Summer nights, it can be a sizable problem. Both of us regularly make sure to have the Heating & Air Conditioning program on the van repair to because all of us cannot afford to travel across town & have the cakes ruined. I also make sure to check with the location ahead of time to make sure they either have a big enough cooler for me to put the cake in or that they have sufficient temperature control to keep it safe.
