Go ahead and stop me if you’ve been in this situation before: You’re out with your buddies having a great time, and someone makes the suggestion to go singing at a karaoke bar. Nobody undoubtedly wants to do it, however almost everyone feels like “stepping out of their comfort zone” and trying their hand at some singing. It definitely sounds like a complete nightmare to me! That’s basically what I was subjected to last weekend though, as I was dragged out with my roommates to go to a karaoke bar after a pleasant evening at our preferred lounge. I suppose almost everyone wanted to end the evening on a truly awful note, so that’s why we wound up at the karaoke bar. It wasn’t as terrible as I thought, though – that evening, I learned that this bar legitimately had the best heating and A/C appliance I’d ever experienced in a public location! The indoor air quality was superb, as if they had an air purification system functioning in each room. It was just cool enough, however not cold where you’d need a sweater or anything… Plus, each room had its own temperature control! I’d heard of this before – it was a zone-control temperature control, and from what I could tell, there was one in every single room! This was appealing, as it was the owner’s way of telling us that we could make the room as toasty or cool as we’d prefer. The temperature control was also a combination humidistat, so we were able to control the humidity in the room as well… All in all, I suppose it wasn’t a terrible time! All of us were able to buy multiple rounds of drinks, so I didn’t mind just hanging out and taking it easy while almost everyone else made a fool of themselves singing.
