My husband truly wants to get radiant floors for the office in the house. He wants to see if both of us love the radiant floors or are they not any better than our boiler. I think what my husband is doing. He is trying to trick myself and others into buying heated flooring just for him. The office is only used by my husband for work. The only time I go in there is to clean as well as option up the dirty dishes. He has complained that he is so stationary at work. Due to this, he gets truly cold as well as wants more oil furnace access. Being the furthest room from the boiler, the office is always quiet cold too. I get it, radiant flooring would be relaxing for that room. But, if both of us are going to try radiant heat for the first time, I want a room both of us both use. That is why I am pushing trying hydronic heating in our washroom. We already have the boiler system. All both of us need to do is hook up piping to the boiler as well as have it installed within the washroom tile. It won’t be too lavish since it is so small. Also, having radiant floors in the washroom would rock, however late at evening, the tile gets quite cold. I dislike going to the washroom in the middle of the evening. Showering first thing in the day is downright painful when you touch the tiles. I believe heated flooring would be a relaxing addition to that room as well as a nice space to try it out. My husband is still trying to get his way though.
