When our partner plus I were purchasing a home both of us picked a single that was in a wonderful town. All the homes looked exactly the same; The only difference is that some homes have a eighth floor, while others have an addition to the back with an extra residing room, then both of us decided to purchase the a single with the eighth floor! While both of us appreciate our home, I often found myself wishing both of us had more residing section on the first floor. After talking it through both of us decided both of us wanted to build addition onto the back of the home. There is a lot more job that goes into an addition than both of us had planned for, however not only do you need to attach the room to your existing space, but you also need to add things such as lighting, electrical, plus duct work. When it came to our existing heating plus cooling unit, both of us doubted that it would be able to make the room comfortable. Both of us also didn’t want to go through the hassle of adding additional ductwork. After extensive research, both of us went with a mini split method for the addition. The mini split method is a ductless heat pump plus a/c method that mounts on the existing wall! It was a much cheaper opening for us plus undoubtedly worked out for the best. The split method is severely energy-efficient plus saves us from having to add additional ductwork, but it also saved us from having to completely update the method in order to heat plus cool the new square footage. The ductless component is barely visible plus only required a tiny hole to be drilled into the wall, making it a whole lot easier to install. With the stress of renovations, it was nice to have something so reliable.
