In our lavatory we have a tile floor. I mean they are real 12 x 12 tiles, none of that fake stuff, they are charming and almost perfect. Unfortunately the darn things are so cold in the morning. I wake up at 6:30 am and where I live, it is often a chilly morning. I turn the alarm off, I stretch, I walk to the lavatory from my carpeted floor and BAM, my feet are instantly frozen. Our lavatory tile is so chilly it almost hurts to walk on them. The oil furnace is on and it’s finally working wonderfully, why are my floors so cold? Even after a hot shower they are still cold. I told my hubby I need radiant floors and he told me to put my slippers on. Typical! Then well, after our neighbor down the road got some and both of us felt them first hand, my hubby is now entirely considering it. It is amazing the difference it makes. The oil furnace on in our home makes the air nice and toasty, however what about our feet? A great working Heating, Ventilation and A/C system can only take you so far. I want my feet to be as warm and cozy as the rest of me does. I can’t believe my hubby is considering it now. I am so super happy that I talked my friends into getting the radiant floors first. Of course, my hubby doesn’t need to know that part. All he needs to know is he won’t have my chilly feet poking him when I get into the bed anymore.
