This weekend my son is invited to a classmate’s birthday party at an indoor playground. I usually cringe when he gets invited to such events because I am well aware how young children are known to easily spread germs and I am quite sure that my child will come home with some kind of bug. And, even when the boy might not end up sick, I know I will be under the weather within a few days or even as soon as our son will return from the birthday party. Both our son and myself know that if my wife is stricken with the flu, it seems to be the end of the world and we might as well plan for her funeral in case this It’s true the two of us all know it’s true when spouses get sick it is the end of the world, you might as well start planning their funeral in case this flu kills her. In fact, this five year old boy is better about being sick than his mother. When my wife declares herself sick, which might only take a sneeze, she curls up on the couch wrapped up in a cocoon of blankets. Part of me wants to tell our son that the birthday party is out of the question, however, I also want my child to have fun with his classmates. Hence,I truly wish that indoor play areas had the same air filtration systems also used by hospitals. Such device would put me much more at ease about my son attending this birthday party and maybe I should make a suggesting about bringing about a air filtration system and put it in the suggesting box. After all, this indoor playground already has an astonishing Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system, keeping a constant perfect temperature which makes adding an air cleaner quite simple.
