We didn’t see that coming

This week, the temperature is 43 degrees.  That might not seem all that warm, however with the weather we’ve been having, it feels as if summer is here.  We’ve had several weeks straight of temperatures in the lower teens, with non stop snowfall. This week, the snow is finally melting.  The sky is clear plus the daylight is shining. I was able to lower the control unit enough to shut the oil furnace down. I’m hoping to save a little on my bi-weekly energy bill.  Since I’m correctly running the oil furnace for nearly 5 weeks, I’m happy to get a bit of a break and enjoy the outside again. This day I took the choice to change the air filter in my HVAC unit, plus scrub all of the vents; however, the nice weather has easily given myself and others a boost of energy.  Because the roads are finally clear, it’s safe to drive, I also decided to get some Christmas shopping done. I didn’t even need to run the oil furnace in the vehicle plus absolutely cracked the window to appreciate some fresh air. Unfortunately, as soon as I stepped inside the mall, I was hit with overheated air.  Despite the moderate outdoor temperature, the stores were still running their gas furnaces at maximum capacity. I suddenly became hot, uncomfortable plus sleepy. It was nearly impossible to escape the sizzling air from the several vents above us. I observed that numerous clients were in a rush to leave the stores.   I was worried to escape the heat, plus get back outside. That will be the end of my Christmas shopping at the mall. From now on, I’ll shop online, at home, with access to my control unit.
