Trying to not pay those overtime repair charges

When my cooling system quit in the middle of the night, I should have called for repairs instantly… I was unwilling to spend money the higher price for repair outside of proper supplier minutes, however, since this was at the beginning of a holiday weekend, my family was left without cooling system for many days, then the outside temperature climbed into the nineties every single day, with high humidity and not a hint of a breeze, my family bitterly complained about our overheated and sticky house! Knowing how luxurious the cooling system repair would be, I simply encouraged everybody to open their windows and run some fans.

  • My husband was easily unhappy about the pollen, dust, bugs and exhaust fumes that managed to come in through the screens, then plus, there was condensate running down the windows and some concerns with mold growth on the sills.

I called for an appointment as soon as the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier was open for business, and unfortunately, a lot of people obviously had the same method and I couldn’t get an appointment for a repair for many more days. By the time the Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker finally showed up, the people I was with and I were desperate for cooling system. It took the guy about many minutes to clean the dust out of the inner workings and get the cooling system started again. It was a little frustrating that we’d suffered the heat for so long when the repair was so easy. I absolutely saved some currency by avoiding overtime repair and waiting for an appointment, however I’m not sure if it was worth it.
