Where I live, the weather is rather drastic. We really only have two seasons when it comes to the weather, and they are summertime and wintertime. The summertime weather starts in March and ends in October, most afternoons it’s in the high 90’s, and most mornings it doesn’t get cooler than the low 70 degrees. The Wintertime starts in November and continues through the end of February. The afternoons are usually snowy and cold around 40 degrees, and most mornings get down below freezing. I don’t mind this weather, because I don’t really like the in between seasons anyways. When I was a child I lived up further north, and during the spring and fall seasons I got sick from the weather changes. So, I like where I live now, and I hardly ever get a sore throat or a cold from the weather changes. My hubby, Thomas, grew up in the house that we live in now, so he knows how imperative it is to have a working HVAC unit. Last October, we had our HVAC serviceman over our to the house, and he took a look at our gas furnace. He told us it certainly wouldn’t make it through the wintertime. This would be a pretty large financial hit for Thomas and me since we weren’t planning on having to purchase a new gas furnace this year. However, we were thankful to have learned in time to have a new one in by the time winter came. The two of us hadn’t had any complications with our AC device so far. However, we had it service each year to make sure all is well and working as it should be. With the type of weather we have, it’s essential to have well working HVAC units.
