I went on a few field trips in high university that were pretty neat. Sometimes the people I was with and I made the choice to go to museums in town, but other times the people I was with and I made the choice to go to the zoo in town. Still other times, the people I was with and I made the choice to go out a little farther and even left the state. During those longer trips, the university was occasionally able to rent a coach bus. These buses were a whole lot more comfortable than the cheese wagons that the people I was with and I always used to get from location to location. Most notable, at least for me, was the fact that they had genuinely good a/c and even heating. Those rides to those locations were so comfortable, occasionally I would fall asleep. In fact, I nearly consistently fell asleep, especially if the people I was with and I had to drive for a few hours. Those buses were so comfortable that half the enjoyment of the trip for myself and others was riding in them! I will admit that the attractions that the people I was with and I made the choice to go to go see we are really pretty cool too. The people I was with and I even visited the Space Center one time. However, after a long day of wandering around in the sunshine it was consistently beautiful to get back on those coaches and into our seat to enjoy the a/c. When I was younger, I could swear that I could live out of one of those things if I had to, like if it was a tour bus and I was in some big rock band. Nowadays, I appreciate the comfort that the a/c in our actual beach house provides. Not to mention the fact that our house genuinely beats some old bus when it comes to a location to live!
