I don’t think I was fully prepared, when I bought our first house, for the responsibility of unquestionably owning a property… There are a lot of things that I didn’t think of, that I’ve had to learn over the years. Things that have been difficult. As a man coming from renting space, it’s hard to imagine, or even think of in the first venue, having to maintain an Heating plus A/C system, roof, windows, grass, gardens, etc. I mean half the time I would just blink our eyup plus something up-to-date needed fixing. It was a lot for myself and others to think about plus keep track of. I’ve owned more than 2 houses since our first venue, plus I seem to have hit the point where I can keep up on things before they cut plus not have to spend too much time backtracking to repair everything. Maintenance is, I have found, the best option to keep costs low plus stress to a minimum. For instance, I routinely have our heating plus cooling pro look over our Heating plus A/C system to ensure it is running smoothly plus functioning officially. I have to reseal a wood deck in the back every few years, to keep it in good condition. I also take the extra time to thoroughly clean our windows plus screens each year in the summertime plus fall. Each of these things I do, are so ingrained now, they are just habit. I just do them. And having these systems keep our condo from degenerating to the point that I am having to repair things left plus right. The heating plus cooling system was particularly bad in our seasoned house! But then again, while in that stage of our life, I didn’t even suppose I was supposed to change the filters in our Heating plus A/C system, but so yup, I’ve come pretty far.
