I am the type of person who is basically always cold. I know this about myself and have learned how to prepare for most situations so I can be comfortable. Even in the summer, unless the temperature is above 85 degrees I know I might get chilly. My friends like to make fun of me because I always have an extra scarf or sweater with me just in case. I drink hot tea year round and always ask for no ice in my water. Anything to avoid giving myself a chill. There are always three places I know I have to be extra careful to be prepared otherwise I will be very uncomfortable and that is the movies, the grocery store, and the mall. I don’t know what kind of heating and cooling system these places are equipped with but I am always freezing cold when I enter one of those buildings. HVAC is very important for businesses to keep their shops warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Customers need to be comfortable to enjoy their experience. Unfortunately I am just too sensitive. The worst time for me is the hottest summer months. I obviously want to dress to be comfortable in the outside heat but the second I walk into a store I am totally freezing and have to rush to get everything done so I can get back outside. I’ve learned to dress in layers and be thankful that we have such great air conditioning in this world that I would even need a sweater in July.
