The aftermath

Halloween is my number one holiday of the whole year. I entirely savor Christmas a lot too, but there is something fun about skeletons, zombies, plus making kids cry. Each year on Halloween, the people I was with and I decorate the house in various unusual adornments. All of us have skeletons plus ghosts hanging from the tree. All of us have a nice graveyard scene, complete with an empty grave. All of us have a cauldron with dry ice, roasting a skeleton over a toasty fire. My fiance plus I apply a heap of makeup, in order to transform our face plus bodies into something horrifying plus creepy. This year was a disaster, because the outdoor uneven temperatures were too sizzling plus humid for face paint. The outdoor thermometer really learn 84 degrees on Halloween day. All of us sat in front of the cooling system all afternoon, trying to apply a little paint at a time. The temperature dropped by a few degrees over the afternoon, but the heat was still Relentless at 5 in the afternoon. All of us tried to sit in front of the cooling system as much as possible. The moment I left the cooling system, the yellow paint immediately started to drip down my face. My fiance was having the same problem. The temperature did not fall much, by the time trick-or-treaters started to arrive. All of us couldn’t take the cooling system outside, so the people I was with and I did our best to stay cool. An hour after trick-or-treating began, the makeup was sliding down my neck. I know it helped me look more gruesome. I entirely hate having to worry about the heat plus humidity, at the end of October.
