That was a smart move

Every day after school I would constantly stop at this 1 recognizable convenience store because it is extremely chilly which I love! This store has anything and everything anyone could ever want or need. What a good way to beat the heat especially on those stifling days living here in the south; One day I stopped by the store to pick up a box of cereal and to my dismay it was as hotter inside than it was outside, but the smell of something sour and spoiling hit myself and others right smack in the face as I walked in the front door, however i went and inquired as to what was going on and the clerk informed myself and others that the a/c had stopped working a couple of days ago and there was a backup of the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation sending professionals to assess and repair all Air Conditioners and Heaters. I was then told the store was going to close until the a/c was up and running and the smell was gone for good. It was going to be quite costly for the store as it was going to take upwards of two weeks before they would be able to reopen. The clerk had sweat pouring down her face even with a small desk fan blowing on high. I was so disappointed that I lost my nice cool locale to go after school in the tepid and humid temperatures, at least for two weeks; A few weeks went by and I noticed the doors were open again.  I went in to see how things were and the owner told myself and others she had to have a brand new bigger a/c installed. The amount she spent to get her store back up and running was absurd, and hopefully this doesn’t mean prices will be driven up to cover what she spent.
