I picked up a seasonal work to make ends meet while I was in the Wintertime, but I don’t suppose I’m going to end up keeping it for long; Where I live it gets brutally cold, and the Wintertime season lasts for as long as several months, however this means our energy bills are incredibly high and I have to put up with them for over half of the year; In order to afford it, I’m constantly picking up extra seasonal works in the Wintertime to make ends meet, and so this time, I picked up a work helping ship orders at a house for a pressing online business. I thought this work would be a super easy and simple way to pay for those higher Wintertime bills, and however, the house is tougher than I thought. This is because the building is not heated at all. I had thought a business as pressing as this would have at least some kind of Heating and Air Conditioning system, if not for the comfort of their employees, at least to keep the products safe. However, on the first afternoon it was so cold I used our fifteen minute cut to go out to our automobile and have tea in there to moderate up! Plus when I got off our break, I took our gloves and coat with me. This was the only way I could get our work done, while staying moderate with the lack of heating and cooling. I asked our shift boss what the deal was with the Heating and Air Conditioning. He said that this is a warehouse, not an office building, and if I wanted to get paid I’d better get used to it.
