Serving that cooling system

If you have a large, modern condo, you no doubt have an air conditioner component sitting outside your condo. But as with most people, it’s possible you haven’t looked into how to maintain it. But you see, superb repair on your A/C component is absolutely worth your time. While it will, of course, save you on your energy bill, it will also save you from having to update your HVAC component as well. As you can probably imagine, your condo’s heating and A/C plan has a great many parts. Whether you use an A/C and gas furnace combination or a heat pump, your plan will have both an interior component and an exterior unit! The exterior component in your condo heating and cooling plan has both a condenser coil and compressor, just as the interior component in your condo heating and A/C plan has both an evaporator as well as a blower. However, the first step before starting any A/C care on either of these is to split the power off to the heating and A/C component through both the condo breaker switch and the shut-off switch near the component outside your condo. Only when the power is completely off can you begin to clean the inside of the heating and cooling unit. Take off the external cabinet. Then wipe down the fins around the outside of the unit; make sure any bent fins are straightened. Next, clean the debris around your external unit, make sure it is level, and finally clean the evaporator coil. While it is a lot of work, it is certainly a superb investment in keeping your heating and cooling plan in perfect operation.
