Putting freon in our air conditioner

I received a frantic call to my office this morning from a family in need of both a higher indoor air quality and the services of an air conditioning, heating and ventilation company.  It seems that the family has been experiencing persistent allergy-type symptoms for some time now, and they have finally called me to help them with this ventilation issue. My HVAC company is well known in the area for having the ability to help you with your every heating, cooling or ventilation need, so I know I will be able to help them.  The caller continued to tell me that their young son has always had allergies, but now the allergies are really making him sick. The child’s doctor advised this potential customer to get with an air conditioning company in order to raise the indoor air quality for the child, and to have it done as soon as possible. He then asked about an air purification system for the sick child as well.  Dad went on to explain that he has done some limited internet research on the subject of allergies and indoor air quality, and he is also in need of a quote for both the air purification system and a ductwork cleaning.  I went on to tell him that another way to deter the allergens wanting to take up residence in your ductwork or other parts of your air conditioning is to have that A/C filter changed monthly, that way the dust and dirt don’t have the opportunity to accumulate, possibly making you and your family very sick.
