Problems on the horizon

Ever since I graduated from high school, I was trying to find a job as best as I could. I could not find any business that would pick me up because I had no relevant experience, and I had no aspirations of going off to college. It would be just too much trouble and debt for me. Nevertheless, I by sheer luck fell into being an employee of a local HVAC service company as an assistant to one of their best heating and cooling specialists! The nature of the work was on the job training all together. I was learning the basics of ductwork laying, installing heating and cooling systems, accumulating knowledge about the latest in HVAC technology, as well as learning information about things like smart thermostats and radiant heated floors. The trade of HVAC technology turned out to be fascinating to me. In fact, I ended up enrolling in a college after all, doing the proper courses to become a certified heating and cooling specialist myself! When I told the local HVAC company my plans, they were so glad, that they offered to help pay for my classes and books and other materials. Gleefully, I took them up on that offer to save me the burden of a big debt that I would have to endure for a few years to come. Eventually, I graduated, and earned my official certification. Today, I am a bonafide heating and cooling specialist, and yep, you guessed it, I still work for the same generous company, but of course, at a much higher pay scale! I am so glad I discovered these guys right out of high school. Or else, today, I would be wandering aimlessly not be a certified HVAC specialist!
