Our home is a showpiece

I was thrilled with all of the old and obviously custom made wood pieces, like the old dining table and matching chairs

When my grandmother passed away, she left me her home and everything in it. I had been in the house many times, and I thought I saw everything. My brother and I used to play hide and seek in the upstairs and Grandma would allow us to have camp outs in the downstairs. I never knew she had so many secrets hidden in her attic. After everything was settled and the house was put in my name, I went into the house and started to look through everything. I was shocked at what I found in the attic and on the third floor. There was the most beautiful furniture that had been perfectly preserved. Grandma must have saved every piece of furniture she ever bought or had given to her. There was Shaker furniture from the turn of the nineteeth century. There was Modern Hollywood Regency that was actually Old Hollywood Regency that looked new. I found Old World Tuscan Beauty and Tuscan Territorial. I knew that Grandma knew a lot about furniture and she was always talking about the furniture she had in her living room. I couldn’t figure out what she was talking about because the furniture we used was tattered and frayed. I wasn’t so sure what to say when I got up into the attic. I was thrilled with all of the old and obviously custom made wood pieces, like the old dining table and matching chairs. I was also thrilled to realize it was all mine. By the time I am done with decorating the house, it will be a showpiece.
