I knew something had to be up with my humidifier because I was receiving random static shocks from touching certain items within my home. Not to mention, my hair was also sticking up. That’s when I decided to see if my humidifier was on. When I was inspecting my humidifier it didn’t seem like it was laboring. According to my heating plus cooling contractor, proper humidity level is absolutely pressing for a person’s health, comfort, well-being plus also my lake home plus it’s furnishings. When I called my local heating plus cooling contractor to come take a look at the humidifier he asked myself and others multiple questions first to see if it was something that I could just resolve before he would come to my home plus do a Heating plus A/C maintenance call. He asked if I turned off the humidifier at the end of the last heating season plus wanted to see if I forgot to turn it back on. Or he said maybe I forgot to open a bypass damper or water valve. I told him everything was on plus that I didn’t touch a single setting. He also asked myself and others when the last time I cleaned my humidifier. I told him that I cleaned it last year plus he told myself and others that the lack of cleaning may be the reason why my humidifier is not turning on. He said that if I have difficult water I should be cleaning it much more frequently, such as cleaning at least twice a heating season. He also stated that the dehumidifier panel can be plugged with sediment from the sediment of the difficult water. If the water panel or evaporator pad is plugged from the sediment the humidifier will not work properly. After cleaning it my humidifier worked again!
