My home is buggy

I have lived in the south my entire life and I am well aware of all of the challenges that living here gives you. Learning how to survive the intense summer heat is challenge number one. You need a really good air conditioning system if you want to keep the heat out of your home. I make sure I have my AC unit cleaned and maintained twice a year. Over the last couple of months, I have seen bugs in my house. This is a natural thing in the south, but not when they are coming out of your air vents. I was just getting out of the shower, a couple of days ago, when I was hit in the back of the head by a flying bug. I felt like I had been hit with a bullet and then I saw the bee laying on the floor. I looked around and there were several bees flying around in the bathroom and they were coming out of the air vents. I called the HVAC company and told them what was going on. When the HVAC tech arrived, I showed him where my AC unit was and he went right to work. He told me it was common to find nests of bugs inside the air conditioning unit. He said that they go inside to get away from the heat and they build a nest there. Once the bees or other bugs get inside, it is easy for them to find their way to the ductwork. The HvAC tech was able to destroy the nest and he assured me they should return.
