My wife and I were looking for a beach house. We wanted to move to the beach for the longest time. Both of us love the beach, the ocean, and the waves. The beach properties can be very expensive, so it took a long time to find something in our price range. Shortly after a dangerous tropical storm hit the area, many beach owners decided to sell their properties. Some houses were completely destroyed and others were left in mangled pieces. The fierce storm surge and wind caused a great deal of damage to the beach, the house, and our city. My wife and I found a small bungalow on the beach. It received damage from the storm. It needed a new roof, and the back porch needed complete renovations. The bungalow also needed a new A/C system. This particular house was older than most properties on the beach. The previous owners were still using window A/C units. My wife and I didn’t want to worry about our climate control, so the central A/C was the way to go. We hired a licensed HVAC contractor to complete the job. We needed ductwork installed in the crawl space, and we needed air vents built into each room. Installing a central A/C system was a huge job, and we paid a heap of money. We had multiple projects occurring at the same time. It took several weeks of construction, before we could move into the beach bungalow. When we finally moved into our dream home, everything was perfect.
