I realize a lot of people got cats while in the lockdown however the two of us made the choice to rescue a ferret instead.
I have always wanted a ferret although I understand that they need lots of attention in addition to I was never at the residence to give them any.
With the lockdown, I knew I would be legitimately working from my residence for the foreseeable future. Perfect, right? So the two of us decided to ferret proof our beach residence in addition to then went and picked up our new ferret. We named him Buddy and he is really fun… However, our Heating, Ventilation and A/C machine has not been working right ever since the two of us brought Buddy home with us. It is always entirely frosty in the bedrooms and rather hot in the other areas of the residence. I know this is because the two of us leave the bedroom doors closed most of the day while Buddy is out of his cage, but that doesn’t create fantastic air circulation. Because all of the bedrooms in the beach residence get the same amount of cooled air, the small bedroom areas are frosty and the larger portions of the beach residence are severely warm. I was able to learn that you can put up a baby gate to keep ferrets out of rooms. I tried that and Buddy easily climbed right over the baby gates! So I might need to look into getting zone control for the beach residence so we will be able to keep the whole beach residence comfortable. I plan on calling our Heating, Ventilation in addition to the A/C machine corporation to get a quote tomorrow. Either that, or I need to ferret proof every room in the beach residence and I’m not sure if that will work.
