I’ll stick with normal workouts

Any moment that I want to get on my neighbor Beths nerves I make a joke about yoga, however my neighbor goes to a yoga class 3 times a week and would swear by it.

She likes to tell me what a great work out it is plus how sore she is.

She is more of an academic than a physical girl. She is just thin, no muscle on her at all, her yoga poses are just that, a yoga pose. She simply holds positions for an hour 3 afternoons a week. That just sounds so lame in my humble opinion. I’m pretty sure that yoga is one of the best things for balance as well as flexibility, but only doing it can’t be that good for you. What gets her heart pumping? How is she gaining muscle? I always joke that yoga is simply holding a lunge position. My neighbor acts as if it is so advanced that I could not possibly understand. If I did not work out the way it should, I would let her do this. But, I go to a body plus wellness center 5 afternoons per week. Two afternoons a week I do a private fitness class plus 3 afternoons a week I do a group fitness class. I have been working with a personal trainer that gives me exercises plus monitors my progress. I go so many days so I can rotate what part of the body I work on. One afternoon is strength and the other is cardio. I then do legs, arms plus ab focus afternoons. I have a strong feeling as if I am more balanced than my buddy. I usually look like I do more than her. I actually want to talk to my personal trainer about all of the perks of yoga.
