I happen to work part time at a certain clothing store! The place does not make a whole lot of money, so I deal with lots of aged technology. The cash register is difficult to open, the door uses an actual key plus the cooling appliance looks like something from the stone age. The only functions on the AC appliance is on, off plus low cooling. I have never witnessed a model of AC that is so old. When I first got hired I was told about how to work the old, tricky things in the store. I should have listened or wrote things down. The other day I was the one assigned to closing the store all by myself. I got everything all set plus cleaned up. I then noticed that the store was incredibly sizzling plus there was no frigid air blowing around in the least. I then checked the AC appliance plus saw that it had become frozen solid! A cooling appliance is supposed to deal with frigid air, however how did the AC appliance freeze? I tried chipping away the ice plus warming it up myself. I did not want to leave the store with the AC appliance iced over… Not only would that be awful for the AC appliance, although I was pretty sure I would likely lose my job. I finally had to cave plus call my Mom into the store. She was not any better than me at dealing with this situation. We ended up using hair dryers to thaw it plus hid the evidence of the ice entirely. I am hoping the AC appliance works great plus nobody today noticed anything strange with it.
