I just recently found out that I am in need of a new HVAC system. I know it’s going to cost me, but I really don’t even know where to start. I’ve been asking everyone I know for help but most, like me, don’t have a clue about HVAC systems either… I’ve done some online research, but it’s hard to sift through the different models when I don’t even really know what I need or should get in a new system. There’s just so many options. Finally, I went into an HVAC showroom to see if an expert was available to talk things over with me. I got lucky, the person that helped me and showed me around was very nice. Not at all pushy about the sale. She took me through all the features that were standard with HVAC systems in general and then went on to explain the add ons and how they could potentially improve my quality of life. When she spelled it out so simply for me like that, it was much easier to figure out what I should splurge for and what I would never use. Good thing I asked! I was very attracted to the systems that had, in addition to heating and cooling features, humidity controls as well. I really liked the idea of having an air filtration system in my home that would be able to control humidity in addition to the standard functions. I own a lot of electronics, and humidity and dust aren’t good for them. I knew I wanted that feature in my HVAC system and that I would use it often. It was extra money, but money well spent!
