Life has truly been good for me, and I don’t want to take it for granted. One of God’s greatest blessing in my life is my sweet husband. Honestly, both of us are pretty laid back kind of people, and we adapt easily to each others desires and needs. One of the things that I still haven’t been able to get used to yet is his love for air conditioning. Don’t get me wrong, I love a nice, cool room just as much as the next person, but my husband takes it a little far. When we are traveling, he has the AC on max the entire time. It literally feels like we are in a moving freezer. Our thermostat at home is set to sixty year round. On top of it being pretty chilly in the house, he runs our window unit all night which makes it so cold in our room. I have learned to deal with the house being cold by just dressing in many layers and always having a blanket with me. By far, the hardest thing for me to deal with is the air conditioning at church. They do a great job of keeping the place cool, but my husband likes to sit directly in front of the biggest vents in the entire auditorium. If I was at home I would simply wrap myself in a blanket and deal with the cold, but at church, I can’t just wrap myself in blankets. Last week, I convinced him to sit in a different place, and I hope it will become a habit. Although we may not agree on the temperature of the room, I still wouldn’t trade life with my precious man for anything.
