Having our dream home built with a dream HVAC system

After speaking with the HVAC technician that came out to our future home, I felt much more comfortable with the process of installing the perfect HVAC system to meet our needs and be cost-effective.

My husband and I searched for two years to find the perfect home for us. We were very specific about what we wanted. It seemed like no matter how much we looked, we always ended up disappointed with the houses that were available to us. We finally decided to have our dream home built. After the layout and foundational questions were settled, we got more into the specifics about what we wanted in our home. One of the first things to come up was the HVAC system. Neither one of us had given HVAC much consideration before. Afterall, heating and air conditioning feels kind of mundane compared to decorating a nursery. We called our HVAC provider to learn more about what options were available to us, what the best size furnace/air conditioner might be, whether we wanted smart thermostats, etc. After speaking with the HVAC technician that came out to our future home, I felt much more comfortable with the process of installing the perfect HVAC system to meet our needs and be cost-effective. We ended up selecting a very energy-efficient air conditioning unit and furnace to start. We also sprung for the smart thermostat to keep the house at reasonable temperatures while we were away and save on that monthly energy bill. We also decided to stay on our HVAC provider’s plan to have our HVAC system serviced twice a year to keep the extended heating and cooling warranty. Our dream home is built now with all of the layout and color schemes we had hoped for as well as a smart HVAC system that pays for itself with efficiency.
