Having a UV light filter and HEPA filter is a great combination

I have been a serious dust sensitivity sufferer for a vast majority of my life… When I was living at the old lake house with my parents, this wasn’t such a poor thing because they had a wonderful HEPA filter that actually helped control the amount of dust, dirt, as well as germs that would go around in the air.

  • However, when I moved out on my own as well as was stuck in a junky little dwelling, the air quality was less than desirable.

I was looking to get a HEPA filter like my parents had at home! The HEPA filters were on sale at the local Heating as well as A/C company too, so you would think that it would be the perfect time to buy some. The complication was, they were all sold out by the time I went to get some. I decided to go for some standing air cleaners instead. Those air cleaners helped to a certain degree but they just couldn’t do the same task. So I started looking for other options. What I discovered was a UV light filter. These you could purchase from your local Heating as well as A/C company as well as they actually function by attaching to your heating as well as cooling appliance. From there everything the light touches will destroy any germs or bacteria that could be lingering in the air. The only real setback is you have to check on it often enough to make sure that the bulb has not burned out. If the bulb has burned out, having a UV light filter is not going to do anything. I got one of these for myself to try them out as well as I have noticed that it seems to be improving my air quality by a good amount. I later was able to also get a HEPA filter as well as the two now working together fixed the poor air quality setback entirely.
