My roommate Alex is obsessed with the scent of lavender. Everything the people I was with and I use has to have the odor of lavender, and our dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener all odor like it. When our Heating and Air Conditioning plan needed a new air filter the people I was with and I found that there were scented options. Alex found lavender scented air filters and bought the store out. I can tell you from experience that scented air filters are a mistake. The lavender scent was pleasant on the first few afternoons of use. As the Heating and Air Conditioning would run you would get a hint of the flower odor. It was classy, nice and subtle. As dust got into the Heating and Air Conditioning system, the scent started to change. The odor turned into aged lavender and then turned into a really odory grime odor. The air filters are meant to stay in the Heating and Air Conditioning device for a month. You then get to update with new. By various weeks the scented air filter made our whole new home reek. Alex just wants to update the air filter every various weeks and keep using the lavender 1s. Every one of us are not made of currency. I also think it is stupid to update the air filter earlier than common just to have a scent. I am letting my roommate use up all the scented 1s. Then the people I was with and I are going back to the common Heating and Air Conditioning filter that has no scent and can be updated quarterly, then maybe I could buy a lavender candle or air freshener to cheer Alex up afterwards. No matter what though, I can’t live with that horrible odor.
