Five bedrooms, but only one to spare

My husband and I are now living alone, in a five bedroom home.  I find it hard to believe that we ever had children living here.  He has so efficiently taken over every spare bedroom that I have to plead with him to empty one when we have company coming.  He said he does it on purpose, and he doesn’t have to worry about inheriting squatters. I know that if anything happened where our kids needed a place to stay, he may grumble a bit, but he would be the one to invite them to stay for a while.  I’m not saying I want permanent guests, but we have all needed a hand at one time or another and that is what we would also do. All of the bedrooms have excellent heating and air conditioning. He is an amateur painter, and he has one room with special ventilation.  He wanted to make sure there are no fumes in the house. He also has a room that he has designated for his beer room, since he does home brew. He needs to set the thermostat at a temperature that is conducive to the beer fermenting properly. We have one room that is more for storage, and the thermostat is set a bit lower.  I asked him what he was going to do with the other two and he started to think when he realized one of them was our bedroom. I just stared at him and told him that it was time to let the two other rooms alone. He took three of them, and I want to keep at least one room where I can go when he takes over the our bedroom.
