Changing it to heating

The Summer here in the South is something like a beast. I adore the weather here for about 9 months of the year. However, those 3 months while in the summer, it is strenuous to prefer living in these parts. I’m an outside oriented man so being cooped up while in the peak heating months is pretty serious drag. But, it is actually preferable to experiencing a heat stroke. I’m genuinely glad to have a state of the art HVAC appliance. Without it, the summers would be rather miserable. I had this heat pump put in about 2 years ago. I prefer a heat pump & the current ones have certainly upped their game. When I put in the current HVAC heating & cooling appliance, I also decided to tighten up our dwelling. I resealed everything from the perimeter of the attic to each crack I could find on the exterior of our dwelling. This coupled with the current technology or our heat pump made a sizable difference. That Summer was just as hot but our energy bills were roughly 25 percent less. The other thing that is so great about the heat pump is its versatility. Usually, by late September, the cooling appliance is not running nearly as often. We are even able to open the windows inside the evening which is extremely appealing. But even being in the South, there is still a bit of winter weather. Certainly, our winters pale in comparison to up North. But, it sure is great to be able to flip the HVAC appliance switch to “Heat” & we’re warm enough.
