A few summers ago, my spouse and I celebrated our 20th anniversary. To do something really special for the occasion, we decided to spent a lot of cash and rent one of those upscale limos and drivers to take us for a full evening out on the town. This included going into the upscale expensive part of the city and all. The driver even sits in the limo and waits for over an hour while we have our pricey meals! Right after we had a nice romantic dinner, we got back into the limo and were ready to head back to our hotel. When we got in the limo, all of a sudden it was hot as a furnace in there! The driver said while we were eating dinner the air conditioning system broke down. He did not know what happened, but because it was such a warm evening, we had to move fast to get back to our hotel without air conditioning. Because without the air conditioning, we all could have had some serious problems. Lucky for us, the hotel was only 15 or 20 minutes from where we were at having dinner. Once we got to the hotel, the limo driver came in to cool off in the hotel’s air conditioning they had in the lobby. The driver apologized once again, and said that due to the discomfort of the last part of the night because of the air conditioning issue, the company was going to give us a major discount on the service. Of course, we could not complain! The limo driver had the company send him another car that had working air conditioning to get back to the office, and that was how that all went.
