Air conditioning in the car

Have you ever heard of Murphy’s Law? If not, you’re likely familiar with the implication of it than the name of it. Essentially, Murphy’s Law is an epigram that argues one point: If it can go wrong, it will go wrong. That certainly seems to be the theme in my life lately, as I just keep having the worst run of bad luck! It started with my car’s A/C system no longer blowing cold air during the day. Since cold air would come through at night, I figured the problem was just a clogged refrigerant line. As it turned out, the air compressor for the A/C system was cracked! To make matters worse, my car’s warranty just expired last month, so I have to pay for the new air compressor in full. This all happened at the worst possible time, too, as I’m scheduled for a job interview at this firm downtown later this week. With the air conditioning in my car being debatably unusable, I have to hope that the weather is fair on that day – otherwise, I’m going to show up to my job interview covered in sweat! And if you’ve ever been to a job interview, you know that it will leave you feeling nervous and perspiring as it is! Hopefully I can get the air compressor fixed and have my car’s A/C system up and running before then. Otherwise, this job interview is going to be over before it even begins.
